Sophiite

Sophiite is a digital creator that uses distorted light and image to visualise sound and gives motion to sound and still image, adding greater depth and meaning to his work. The retro feel creates eery yet comforting tones in his short videos that give so much more emotion to a sound and/or image to tell a story through light.

I intend to use light and texture to give life just as Sophiite does, so looking at his work helps me visualised the ideas in my head. The tones of neon and negative light creates curiosity in the viewers mind, encouraging them to consider multiple different meanings in different colour palettes.
